One folder, no installer. The application, the scripts that run it, and the browser-based setup wizard that connects your database and creates the first administrator.

    Quick start

    Running in four steps

    Download, unzip, start, connect your database. First start takes about a minute; the setup wizard opens in your browser on its own.

    Download the ZIP

    Choose your operating system above, download the package, and compare it against the published SHA-256 checksum.

    Unzip it anywhere

    Extract the folder wherever MyPass should live. Everything it creates — configuration, master key, uploads — stays inside that folder under data\.

    Start it

    If Java 17 is installed it is used as-is; otherwise it is downloaded once. When the app is ready your browser opens the setup wizard at http://localhost:5000/.

    Connect your MySQL database

    Create an empty database first, then enter host, port, database, username and password on the wizard's Database step. Finish the wizard — MyPass restarts itself and you are in.
